All trips start in Fairbanks. We can charter a float plane flight direct into the backcountry from Fairbanks or via float plane charter from one of two small communities (Coldfoot or Bettles) that have regularly scheduled flights from Fairbanks and are closer to the Arrigetch region of Gates of the Arctic National Park. Going through Coldfoot is the preferred experience as there are additional activities in this unique, remote Alaskan mountain town on the Dalton Highway (aka “Haul Road” to the North Slope and Prudhoe Bay.
